This office renovation project was undertaken to rethink the workspace and better support the team’s current needs while maximizing the use of existing areas.

The work included the conversion of a storage area into an executive office, the integration of an existing office space with a workshop area to create a large collaborative open-concept workspace, as well as the construction of a private office and a kitchenette.

A portion of the existing cafeteria was also transformed into a new conference room better suited to team collaboration and meetings.

As part of the project, the existing vinyl tile flooring was replaced with carpet tiles carefully matched to the surrounding finishes to ensure a seamless integration with the existing spaces. Frosted film was also installed on glass partitions to provide greater privacy for workspaces and meeting rooms.

The successful completion of the project required careful coordination of the various construction phases, as well as several adjustments to the technical drawings during construction to accommodate existing site conditions and the client’s requirements. The mandate also included the relocation and reinstallation of furniture to ensure the new spaces were fully functional and ready for occupancy upon completion. Existing workstations and furniture components were also modified and adapted to better suit the new layout.

Completed on schedule, the project was delivered through excellent collaboration between the Ariva team and all project stakeholders.

This renovation demonstrates how a thoughtful reconfiguration of existing spaces can help an organization optimize its facilities while creating a modern, functional work environment that can evolve with its needs.
