INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER

The project consisted of the complete construction of an interactive entertainment center located on the second floor of a commercial tower in downtown Montreal.

The mandate included the construction of more than 30 game cells, a reception area, a bar, and a common area designed to accommodate a diverse range of visitors.

Completed within a particularly accelerated schedule, this project required rigorous coordination between all stakeholders in order to meet the various phases of construction. An initial phase of the work had to be completed quickly to allow the client’s artists to begin the thematic installation and design within the different cells. Throughout the project, our team also participated in adjusting certain drawings and execution details in order to adapt to required modifications during construction and ensure efficient coordination between all parties involved.

A second phase of work then focused on completing the common areas, including the bar, washrooms and main entrance, in order to accelerate the official opening of the site.

Starting from an existing commercial space, our team managed the complete construction of the project, from demolition to final finishes, including interior systems, millwork, ceilings, coordination of electrical, ventilation and sprinkler work, painting, as well as flooring installation.

We also contributed to the integration of several unique architectural elements within the cells, including a sloped floor and a tunnel integrated directly into one section of the course.

Among the project’s distinctive features, a large custom-fabricated metal prison cell door now stands as one of the key focal points of the space.

Through efficient site management and rapid project execution, the project was delivered according to schedule in order to allow for a quick opening to the public.
